the British Institute of Graphologists

Education

The British Institute of Graphologists is the UK's leading professional body of handwriting analysts and was set up in 1983 to bring together individuals who share a love of their subject. Today we are just as passionate about graphology and want to share our enthusiasm with you.

Whether you are a novice with a general interest, or have been studying handwriting analysis for years, the B.I.G. has all the resources and support required to help you achieve your aims.

Complete beginners and advanced students have a wide choice of study methods including distance learning, private tuition or public classes and are invited to contact B.I.G.'s registered tutors direct.

If you would like to qualify in order to practise graphology as a professional, the Institute's diploma is recognised worldwide as the benchmark that all graphologists should seek to attain.

B.I.G. Achievement Awards are presented for exemplary papers at any level, at the discretion of the examiners.  The award consists of a year’s free B.I.G. membership.

All students will discover a variety of interesting articles, handwriting analyses and an extensive list of books (containing many rare pieces) in our Media section. Student Members  can access all these regularly updated resources. Benefits also include free subscription to our online Journal and reduced price admission to our programme of lectures, workshops and seminars.

For help or advice on any learning or assessment issues our Education Officer  or Exam Administrator will be happy to help you. General Enquiries should be directed to John Beck.
