Description: Ruth Rostron, our Education Officer, is running a weekend at Alston Hall, Lancs 01772 784 661 www.alstonhall.com June 28 & 29 2008. It is entitled ‘Investigating Handwriting – a workshop introduction to analysis and comparison of handwriting’. Learn how to examine, compare and analyse handwriting and find out more about this fascinating form of detective work. This course covers: profiling (criminal, historical and personal), anonymous letters, disguised writing, forged signatures, and signs of dishonesty or danger in handwriting. Bring samples of your own to analyse or discuss in this workshop, which will be fully illustrated and include some famous cases.

SUMMER SCHOOL - HANDWRITING ANALYSIS - MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR TALENTS AND SOCIAL SKILLS
Venue: MISSENDEN ABBEY, GREAT MISSENDEN, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE,

Description: Missenden Abbey is set in the wonderful Buckinghamshire countryside. This 11th century abbey is a superb study centre and has wonderful grounds to explore as well as offering the chance for stimulating learning.
The Summer School course is for 5 half-days, which run in the afternoon from 11th - 15th August 2008.
It is for all levels, even more experienced students, who want to delve into the fascinating science of Graphology which, combined with simple physchological theories, enables understanding of the dynamics of relationships and how to make them work. Students are invited to bring interesting samples that they have and the emphasis is on positive thinking, how to understand and value people - encouraging their personal growth through understanding. This course is intended to awaken an interest which will lead students to further study and expertise.

In response to requests, the course will also look at the criminal mind and what makes some people take the anti-social route, investigating well-known cases through handwriting samples and some basic psychology.

Tutor Elaine Quigley BA Hons, M.B.I.G. (Dip) is a psychologist and graphologist who uses graphology as a very valuable tool in her work and teaching.

SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION WITH A SYMPOSIUM OF INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS

Description: We are celebrating our Silver Jubilee and this two day event 30/31 August 2008, will be full of action. Lectures, workshop, boat trip and lots of chance to meet and greet world class graphologists. The venue is superb and parking on site is a valuable provision in the busy town of Windsor. There is the opportunity to visit Windsor Castle for those who have time to linger in this lovely place and with the river, the theatre and the street scene this is a must not only to learn, but to experience England at its best.

Non-graphologists will find plenty to interest them and will gain useful knowledge that helps them better understand what makes people tick.
