This is an intelligent, lively and witty script. There is little emotion shown, as the letters are simplified and almost dance across the page. This is a lady who uses quick wit and a sense of humour to keep things light and challenging. The "A" in Anne shows us that she is a quick thinker because it is joined up to the "n". She is independent (upright script) and has good lateral thinking, with the linking of the 't' bars to the following letter. The small script shows a thinker and the lower section's lack of extra movement, indicates someone who likes to get things done speedily and clear the decks for the next activity. The large letters i.e. the "f" on from and the "c" on Croydon shows that she is confident and sets herself very high standards. The "n" on Croydon is almost cup like telling us that this person is generous and responds to a need spontaneously. She helps people because they need it, not out of emotion and this is reinforced by the way the "o" in horrid is looped and showing her wish to stay private and free from uninvited intrusion. Probably at her best when there is a call on her ingenuity. She is not particularly pro-active in the mobility stakes, because she is a thinker and it is the intellectual challenge that will be most attractive. However, she can be fired by quirky ideas and clever projects and, when she is really keen on something, she gives it her all.
